This natural park in Trentino was established in 1967, centered around the forests of the "Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme" woods that for centuries supplied precious timber to the Republic of Venice. Located in the eastern part of Trentino, the park encompasses the Pale di San Martino Dolomite range - a World Heritage Site - and the Fradusta Glacier, a landmark described by both British explorers and the Italian writer Dino Buzzati.

With the arrival of autumn—as the forests take on new hues and the pace of daily life slows—the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Natural Park becomes the stage for one of nature’s most captivating spectacles: the red deer rut. It is a deep, powerful sound that echoes through the fir trees and carries across the surrounding valleys.
