The charm of Lake Molveno is derived from the colour of its waters, the majestic mountains surrounding it - and the fact that it is also open to pets.
From 2011 to 2015, Legambiente and Touring Club Italiano awarded the lake its "5 sails" mark of environmental quality, assigned for its water, beach, services and safety.
There is a part that is open only to humans - from the Spiaggia campsite to the wooden bridge located near the Aquilone ice-cream parlour. The rest of the shore is available for pets to take a swim.
To keep this jewel of the Dolomites clean, both in Molveno and in Molveno Lido there are dispensers available to collect your dogs’ waste.
