This archaeological area, open all year round, is located at Passo del Redebus 1440 m.a.s.l., between the Valle dei Mòcheni and the Pinè plateau.

It is one of the highest archaeological museum areas in Europe and is one of the most important prehistoric foundries from the Late Bronze Age (13th-11th century BC) throughout the Alps.

In this foundry the visitor can admire, among other things, the tools that our ancestors used to work copper (such as millstones) and the melting furnaces (as many as nine), thus learning all the secrets of metalworking.

In this archaeological area it is possible, through the educational laboratories provided by the Educational Services of the Superintendence, to admire and learn the techniques of metalworking.

A short walk from the archaeological area is a protected area of community importance that is home to many protected animals and plants.

The area can be visited freely.
