A relatively long walk but with limited elevation gain. It winds entirely along a ridge straddling Trentino and South Tyrol and the views are behind every corner!

A walk suitable for every season. Being little frequented, it is also suitable for those who want to walk their dog in peace. It starts from Passo di Brez, on the border between Trentino and South Tyrol, and continues along the border in a south-west direction up to Monte Ozol, from which you can dominate the entire Val di Non and the Santa Giustina Lake.

    Author’s recommendation

If you want to extend the route you can descend to the small village of Laregno following the trail marker 28-A43 which descends from the Passo di Cloz.

    Roadbook

From the Forcella di Brez follow the trail marker A32 and after about 750 meters at the fork keep right and take the path A29 that leads to the Cloz pass. This pass is called "Gioat de Cloz" in the noneso dialect and Cloznerjoch in the nearby South Tyrolean villages.

Continue downhill always following the trail marker A29 and you will arrive at the summit of Monte Ozol with its great panorama over the entire Val di Non and the small South Tyrolean villages towards the Ultimo valley.

The return follows the same route as the outward journey.
