Healty path: Tione - Verdesina

<p>An easy, family-friendly route, lasting about 3 hours, leading from Tione di Trento to Verdesina (a village in Porte di Rendena), through a forest of maple, ash and chestnut trees, which, in autumn, create a landscape of incredible colours.</p> <p>The mainly flat loop route alternates between stretches of paved road, stretches of (white) forest road, and a final stretch of slightly uphill cycle path and trail.</p>

<p>The loop route beings in the historical heart of the Sivrè district, in Tione di Trento and, walking up the &#039;Cenglo&#039; district, above the hospital - where you can enjoy amazing views of the Borgo Lares mountains, and Cima Sera and Cima Piza in particular - it leads through a forest road in the woods to Verdesina.</p> <p>Large maple, ash and chestnut trees can be seen in the forest section. In spring, the route is especially green, while in the autumn they colour it with the classic shades of the season.</p> <p>After reaching Verdesina, a small village in Porte di Rendena, the first municipality in the valley, the route crosses it in the direction of the state road, and leads to the cycle path coming from Val Rendena. The cycle path runs alongside the Sarca River, crossing it several times on bridges, surrounded by the countryside just below Tione.</p> <p>Before reaching the Sesena Sports Centre, the route turns into the charming trail leading to the &#039;pont che bala&#039;, a bridge anchored with ropes, to cross the Sarca River and continue along the trail to reach the small Church of San Vigilio.</p> <p>After the small Church, the route continues to the left on a slightly uphill trail, and comes out onto Tione’s main road, Via Circonvallazione, to return to Piazza di Sivrè.</p>
