Molaren Loop - Via Nova - Marine

The Molaren–Via Nova Loop is a trail suitable for everyone, and can be explored on foot or by mountain bike.

The starting point is located in front of the Mezzano Tourist Office, in Piazza Mons. Orler. From here, take the road that runs between the Town Hall on the right and the Cassa Rurale on the left, and head uphill until you reach the intersection with Via Molaren. Continue along Via Molaren as you leave the town; you’ll follow a beautiful, scenic bike and pedestrian path with views of the Pale di San Martino. Continue until you reach the small village of Pieve. Here, at the entrance to the village, take Via San Rocco, which climbs to the left immediately after the cemetery; after about 150 meters, turn left and follow the sign for Via Nova. After a few meters on the paved road, once you’ve passed the last houses, a narrow dirt road begins that climbs gently and continues toward Mezzano. Once back on the paved road, continue until you reach a hairpin turn; just beyond it, after climbing a few meters, you’ll find the continuation of Via Nova.Once back on the paved road in the village of Frontàl, take the second road descending to the left, following the SAT E379 trail until you reach the village of Mezzano. From here, continue downhill along Via Don Luigi Bonat until you reach Piazza Fontana; once past the square, you’ll return to the Tourist Office.
