SAT / E201 - Senter del Menador
It is the oldest route between Levico and the Vézzena Plateau, an interesting and panoramic hike that from Santa Giuliana, ascending the wild Val Pissavacca, leads to Baita Cangi and Monterovere, on the road to Passo Vézzena. The section from Santa Giuliana to Baita Cangi is part of the European Path E5 and is called "Sentér del Menadór".

To start the trail, once you reach the junction with the sign indicating the beginning of the village Santa Giuliana, turn right and follow Via al Dazio for 1.3 km until Villa Sacro Cuore where, right in front, you will find the trailhead.

After passing the last houses of the village, going through many bends we gain altitude until reaching a bridge beyond which we cross a landslide side (here the trail has been reinforced with logs), along which you can enjoy a splendid view of the Alta Valsugana, with Caldonazzo and Levico and their respective lakes. Passing the landslide section, we enter the narrow Val di Pissavacca which is walked now on one side and now on the other slope. After passing a spring (the only possibility to get water), we continue to climb, crossing the stream to the right for the last time and, shortly, reach a small shrine erected on a hillock. From here we proceed overcoming a short stretch of rocks, equipped with a rope (useful when the trail is snowy or icy) and climbing along a path that gradually becomes easier, until reaching the edge of the plateau (shrine) where in the next clearing is the Baita Cangi. Leaving to the left the forest road to Passo and Cima Vézzena (trail 205 and E5), we turn right on the forest road and continue slightly downhill through wide and undulating conifer forests until the Busa della Segheta, where the trail (via ferrata 233) of Val Scura joins. Crossing the bridge over the Rio Bianco, you climb by trail in the woods and through the meadows of Fratesèle up to Albergo Monterovere, beside the S.S. 349.
