Long hike but without any technical difficulty that retraces a section of the famous Dolomiti di Brenta Trek. <p>The automatic opening of the gates from 8:00 to 19:00 allows the passage of hikers on foot and by bike every day approximately from mid-May to the end of October.</p> <p><b>The Terres tunnel is closed until further notice.</b></p>
The proposed itinerary uses the Terres cycle-pedestrian tunnel which allows you to quickly reach the Val di Tovel and the Glare area, a scree with a lunar appearance caused by an ancient landslide that fell from Monte Corno centuries ago.

Inside the tunnel there is a constant temperature of 10 degrees, so you need to bring some clothes.
Shortly after leaving the tunnel you arrive at Capriolo. Here start the shuttles that go up to Lake Tovel and you can take advantage of a ride!

The tunnel directly leads out onto the right side of the Val di Tovel where it joins at Capriolo the path of the Ancient Sawmills. Here start the shuttles that go up to Lake Tovel and you can take advantage of a ride!
Once on the Ancient Sawmills path, follow it until you reach the restaurant in Loc. Capriolo open in the summer months. Above the tambourine field during the thaw season ephemeral lakes form with extraordinary colors. Near the lakes the path begins to climb steeply into the very dry and rocky Glare area towards Lake Tovel. In the Doss dele Glare area a 5-minute detour leads to a panoramic point. After a flat section you reach a steep ramp that leads to the parking lot near Lake Tovel. From the parking lot in few minutes you reach the shores of the lake bordered by a trail that leads to the Park House where you can find information about the area and the phenomenon of the lake's reddening.
The return takes place along the same route and can be shortened by taking the shuttle from the lake back to Capriolo.
