Via Ferrata Gerardo Sega
Fixed rope route
Via Ferrata Gerardo Sega
A route starting from Madonna della Neve that embraces the spectacular Gerardo Sega ferrata, the impressive Preafessa waterfall and the Aviana stream canyon.
The Gerardo Sega Ferrata is a fascinating route that runs within a rocky amphitheater near Mount Baldo. The route runs mainly along two exposed but not particularly difficult ledges. Toward the end it has a couple of slightly more challenging passages, while remaining of moderate difficulty overall. This ferrata is ideal in mid-season because of its exposure and relatively low altitude.
However, when considering the entire route, including the approach and return stages, the overall level of difficulty is considerable.
