The big news from recent days is that the World Championship will also be open to all Master categories, who will be able to challenge themselves on the same route as the elite athletes, specifically the famous Mythos Primiero Dolomiti, the day after the Elite.
The 12 Master titles will therefore be awarded on Sunday, September 13, 2026, while the international Marathon stars will compete on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
An absolute novelty. Never before have amateur MTB Marathon riders had the opportunity to share a world-class experience with the top athletes of the discipline. After two years of absence, the Master World Championship returns, thanks to the initiative of the Pedali di Marca organizers, who have received the green light from the UCI for this extraordinary opening.
