The little Cornisello lakes at the foot of Monte Giner look like turquoise gems among the stones. Here, the waters flowing down from the high peaks of the Presanella Group collect in a glacial basin, and the walk around the mountain lakes is within the reach of walkers of all abilities, even families with children. You can also fish for trout in the little Cornisello lakes; permits are available from the refuge.
