Chalet Brento is a small mountain refuge with four rooms and dining, created from the recovery of a historic alpine hut. Surrounded by the tranquility of the woods above Comano Terme in Trentino’s Lake Garda, it is the ideal place for those seeking nature, relaxation, and authenticity. Accessible on foot or by car with a permit along the forest road, it offers stunning views ranging from the Adamello and Presanella groups to the spectacular Brenta Dolomites, providing guests with an authentic and unforgettable mountain experience.
Payment Conditions
The Chalet Brento can be reached on foot or by car with a special permit along the forest road.
Check-in is available from 2:00 p.m., while check-out must be completed by 10:00 a.m.
The property is immersed in nature and invites guests to respect the tranquility of the place and other residents.
Any special requests can be agreed upon directly with the property.

From Arco:
By car from the Varignano area, follow the signs for Padaro, then continue to San Giovanni al Monte, where you leave the car and take the O408 trail for 5 minutes to Baita Cargoni. Above the meadow, take the right fork on the O408B trail towards Monte Brento for 30 minutes until you reach the bend of the forest road that climbs from Lundo. Here, continue on this dirt road for 10 minutes until you reach Chalet Brento.
Hike: duration about 0:30 hours, distance about 3 km, elevation gain 250 m
From Lundo:
By car, upon reaching the roundabout in the square in Lundo, take the third exit (north) and continue for about 1 km until the start of the forest road. With a transit permit, you can take this road by car and follow the signs until you reach Chalet Brento after about 7 km.
