Ciampac viewpoint
The Ciampac basin at 2,152 m, in the shadow of the Colac and Crepa Neigra, was once a glacial circus.
The resort can be reached by cable car from Alba di Canazei. In winter it is an important ski area directly connected with Pozza-Buffaure and Canazei-Belvedere - Skitour Panorama, while in summer it is the ideal place to spend a day outdoors with the children, thanks to the excellent exposure to the sun, the presence of shelters and a well-equipped play area. The Ciampac, a starting point for numerous high altitude walks and treks, is famous for its superb views of Sella and Pordoi, for its naturalistic, geological/volcanic and historical routes. Here, in fact, the traces of the First World War are still clearly visible. In addition, upstream of the ski lifts, if you're lucky, you can spot the marmots that populate this grassland in large numbers.
