First news coming for the Valsugana Historic Rally and the combined "Classic" Regolarità Sport, thanks to the 11th edition scheduled for Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29 in Borgo Valsugana.
Promoted by Manghen Team and Team Bassano together with Autoconsult & Competition, the Trentino event advances a few days from last year's date while keeping the organizational structure and logistical arrangement unchanged, while the most substantial news concerns the variation of the route.
The program includes the opening of registration at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, and the possibility of finalizing it until 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 20. On Saturday, 22, the day on which the event will be presented to the authorities and the press, there will be the handover of the road-book to the rally competitors at the Bar del Borgo from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the subsequent start of reconnaissance of the route, which is allowed until 7 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the following day.
On Friday, April 28, it will be the Borgo Valsugana Sports Center that will host the sports and technical scrutineering starting at 3 p.m. and ending at 7 p.m.; the display of the start time, at 8 p.m., will conclude the first day. Confirmed the possibility to park overnight the race cars inside the Center, which will be equipped with special surveillance.
From 8:31 a.m. Saturday, on the Venetian Bridge in the city center, the start of the first car that will move to the first of three special stages, to be repeated in the second lap totaling 86,360 timed kilometers out of the 254,420 of the total route. Two regroupings in the central Via Roma while the service park and the Remote Service Zone will be located in the industrial area of Borgo Valsugana. The arrival of the first car is scheduled, in the same area as the start at 6 p.m. and, closing the event will be the traditional dinner offered to the crews at the Palazzetto dello Sport, during which the awards will be held. Validity chapter: in addition to that mentioned for the T.R.Z. of the Second ACI Sport Zone, the historic rally will be the third round of the A112 Abarth Yokohama Trophy and the second for both the Memory Fornaca and the new Michelin Trofeo Storico 2023; the rally will also kick off the ACI Vicenza Rally Trophy while for the Valsugana Classic regularity sport race, the titling is that for the Tre Regioni Trophy of which it will be the third round of the season.
