The celebration meeting of the thirtieth anniversary of the "HandiCREA Cooperative – Founded by Graziella Anesi" will take place on Wednesday 26 November from 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm at the InCooperation Room of the Trentino Federation of Cooperation.
The meeting includes above all some moments of remembrance and perspective, including: (1) the presentation of the "Graziella Anesi Degree Thesis Award" at the University of Trento thanks to the support of the Common Fund of the Trentino Rural Funds; (2) the presentation of the video-documentary "Graziella Anesi through the gaze of those who knew her" (edited by Medialab and with the support of Fondazione CARITRO and other institutions in the area); (3) the testimony of Gian Antonio Stella (journalist of Il Corriere della Sera and author of the book "Diversi. The long battle of the disabled to change history").
These institutional moments will be followed by concerts by the Coro Abete Rosso conducted by Luana Cestari and the Folk Band Group of Pinetano conducted by Franco Delli Guanti. To close buffets and toasts by the
Cooperativa Dal Barba – with acoustic musical accompaniment by Unshods (voice and guitar).
The HandiCREA Social Cooperative celebrates the thirtieth anniversary of its foundation (1995-2025) precisely in the year that the United Nations has dedicated internationally to Cooperatives (the United Nations General Assembly has declared 2025 the "International Year of Cooperatives " https://2025.coop/ under the theme "Cooperatives build a better world"), in the year in which the Trentino Federation of Cooperation celebrates its 130th anniversary (and the association "Women in Federation" the 20th).
HandiCREA was born from the idea of Graziella Anesi and some historical members, it becomes the "Disability Desk" for the Autonomous Province of Trento (since 2005) and provides free information to disabled people, family members and operators, and has become over time a unique point of reference for the world of disability and for the Trentino Community.
