40th Italian Firefighters’ Ski Championship
Italian Championships of the Firefighters. Disciplines: alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, ski mountaineering, and snowboarding. From January 29 to 31. The opening ceremony will take place along the streets of the town of Folgaria. The giant slalom and ski mountaineering competitions will be held in the Fondo Grande area, while the snowboard and cross-country skiing events will take place on the slopes of Passo Coe and at the Cross-Country Center of Passo Coe, respectively.
Alpe Cimbra is ready to welcome a prestigious and valuable sporting event: the Italian Firefighters Championships.
From January 26 to 31, 2026, our territory will host the 40th edition of Nordic and Alpine skiing competitions, the 11th edition of snowboarding and the 10th of ski mountaineering, held in the heart of the Folgaria ski area.
For Folgaria, this is an important return: the location has already had the honor of hosting the event twice, and, after 13 years since the last edition, it is preparing to experience this event once again with even greater enthusiasm.
During the week, around 1000 Firefighters from all over Italy will compete in various sports disciplines, creating moments of sportsmanship, friendship, and sharing, with that team spirit that has always distinguished them.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 29, 2026
- 09:00 Opening of the race office and collection of bibs at the ice rink in Folgaria (TN);
- 14:30/16:30 OPENING TECHNICAL CONFERENCE at Sala Don Bottea at the Sports Hall in Folgaria;
- 18:00 Opening ceremony of the 40th edition of the Championship (parade through the town, greeting of the authorities, raising of the flag and lighting of the tripod) in Folgaria (TN);
- 20:00 Athletes' dinner and musical entertainment at the ice rink in Folgaria (TN);
FRIDAY, JANUARY 30, 2026
- 07:00 Opening of the race office and collection of bibs at the ice rink in Folgaria (TN);
- 07:00 Opening of the lifts for reconnaissance on the slopes:
- 08:00/08:45 Slalom giant track reconnaissance;
- 09:00 Giant slalom race for all categories on the slopes in loc. Fondo Grande – a second run will follow for the top 30 classified;
- 16:45 At the conclusion of the slalom races, there will be an awards ceremony in loc. Fondo Grande;
- 19:00 Nocturnal ski mountaineering race starting from the Serrada slopes, followed by a pasta party and award ceremony in loc. Fondo Grande;
SATURDAY, JANUARY 31, 2026
- 07:00 Opening of the race office and collection of bibs at the ice rink in Folgaria (TN);
- 08:30 Snowboarding race at the slopes at Passo Coe;
- 09:30 Cross-country race at the cross-country center at Passo Coe;
- 14:00 Award ceremony for snowboarding, cross-country, individual combined, Command awards and trophy assignment – Greeting of the authorities – Lowering of the flag and closing of the Championships in Piazza Marconi in Folgaria - Handover of the baton to the organizing Command of the 41st edition.
