The Ciumba Electric Gumbo band has returned from the USA with a new EP, recorded at the legendary ROYAL STUDIOS in Memphis.
Certainly one of the purest, most authentic, and passionate blues bands in the Italian scene, they present their new EP at the DOLOMITI SKI JAZZ, full of the "Visceral Sound" of Chicago Blues and its legends: Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Willie Dixon, Howlin' Wolf…
A personal touch, born from the diverse collaborations in their long career, transforms the classic blues into something more, which they like to call “Hotch Potch Blues”.
The artists are: Rob Daz (trumpet), Max Ravanellah (sousaphone), Luca Aliberti (vocals and guitar), Umberto Baggiani (blues harp) and Vincenzo Barattin (drums).
