Workshops Discovering Traditional Crafts
The Committee of Saints Antonio and Marcello invites children aged 6 to 15 on January 17, 2026, to experience the magic of traditional crafts in our workshops.
Maximum 10 children per group, 6 groups across the courtyards and stubi of Chiarano.
Dress in period style and travel back in time with us!
Workshops will be held in two time slots:
- 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
- 3:15 pm – 4:15 pm
It is possible to register for one workshop at a time.
Children’s Workshops:
- Wool Workshop – discovering and working with wool
- The Old Farm – animal care and cheese making
- From Flower to Honey – honey production and the story of bees
- Beads Together – embroidery and creations
- Medicinal Plants – creations with medicinal herbs (€5)
- How Oil is Made – olive oil production and the history of olive trees
Workshop for Adults:
- La Saonéta
Limited-capacity workshop for teenagers and adults (15+) with Elena from “Selvatica Natura sulla Pelle”.
Duration: 2 hours to discover and create homemade soap.
