Double appointment at the Teatro SanbàPolis in Trento with the 2024/2025 Dance Season of the Centro Servizi Culturali Santa Chiara di Trento, which will see the Compagnia Abbondanza/Bertoni, a reference point for theatre-dance in Italy on Wednesday 22 and Friday 24 January 2025, engaged over two evenings. The Rover company, founded by Antonella Bertoni and Michele Abbondanza, will be on stage with its latest work entitled Viro, and will return to the stage of the Teatro SanbàPolis with Femina. A diptych of absolute value signed by the historic contemporary dance couple for the choreography of Antonella Bertoni. The two shows of the Compagnia Abbondanza/Bertoni are also included in the calendar of the Contemporary Regional Season, created in collaboration between the S. Chiara Centre and the Teatro Stabile in Bolzano. From the New York experience in the school of Alwin Nikolais to French studies with Dominique Dupuy, through the ‘poetic’ improvisations of Carolyn Carlson, the study and practice of Zen, Michele Abbondanza - co-founder of the Sosta Palmizi group and professor at the Scuola di Teatro del Piccolo in Milan - and Antonella Bertoni founded the Compagnia Abbondanza/Bertoni, which has been based at the Teatro alla Cartiera for years thanks to an agreement with the municipality of Rovereto.
