Guided snowshoe hike
A snowshoe walk in the Ciampac basin to immerse yourself in the intimate essence of the Dolomites in winter
Mountain guides will take you to the splendid Ciampac basin, at 2,160 metres, where winter reveals itself in all its splendour. Take the gondola from Alba di Canazei to reach the Ciampac ski area and, after a journey of about 3 km, you will find yourself immersed in a dreamlike landscape, surrounded only by the majestic Dolomite peaks of Val di Fassa. Snowshoeing on fresh snow, you will learn to recognise the tracks left by wild animals and discover the secrets of an alpine environment that changes with the seasons. After this high-altitude experience, lunch in one of the mountain huts in the valley, easily reachable on foot, will be your well-deserved reward: a perfect opportunity to taste Trentino and Ladin specialities in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Price: € 55 for adults and children (from 10 years). The price includes the activity, guide, return lift ticket, snowshoe and pole hire.
