I feel like a woman
A musical performance to reflect on the experience of being a woman in the internet age
On the eve of Women's Day, the Cinema Teatro Marmolada in Canazei will be filled with music and stories to celebrate the strength, passion and stories of women through their most famous songs. Timeless melodies and songs written in their honour intertwine in an exciting journey through words and notes, giving voice to experiences, dreams and battles that have marked the history of music and society.
The evening is a musical and narrative journey that explores the meaning of being a woman today, between independence, personal fulfilment and cultural changes. Through the voices of great Italian singers, from Tosca to Mia Martini, and their overseas colleagues, the show tackles themes related to female identity, the emotional universe and relationships with men, with a look that also embraces the poignant melodies of Spanish and Yiddish tradition. The show reflects on the role of new technologies in the life of contemporary women, alternating moments of reflection and light-heartedness.
The event, lasting one hour and thirty minutes, is staged by the voice of Eleonora Mazzotti, accompanied by Riccardo Roncagli on piano and bass and by Marco Pacassoni on vibraphone and percussion.
