Mini Marcialonga Running
An experience to live the spirit of the Marcialonga and spend an afternoon full of sport, games and sharing
The MiniRunning is a non-competitive promotional race, dedicated to children and young people aged 2 to 12. A special opportunity to run, have fun and feel like a star, experiencing the excitement and spirit of the Marcialonga Running Coop in a small way. The Mini race will also start from the square "Piaz de Sotegrava", the same starting point as the main race, giving the young participants a taste of the atmosphere of the big competition.
The event is open to everyone: young athletes, children from sports clubs, local children, children of those registered for the race and young guests on holiday.
The route varies according to age: children aged 2 to 5 years old face a short stretch of 100 metres, while the older ones, aged 6 to 12 years old, run 900 flat metres along the river "Avisio", on roads closed to traffic. Registration is at the stand in the square "Piaz de Sotegrava", open on Saturday from 9 p.m. to 1 p.m. The participation fee is 5 euros, to be paid at the time of registration, and includes refreshments and a goody bag for all participants.
