Sunday, January 18: A day of sport and celebration for the entire city
Rovereto is preparing to experience a moment of extraordinary symbolic intensity. On Sunday, January 18, 2026, our city will be the protagonist of stage 42 of the Olympic Flame’s journey to the Milan Cortina Games. A 12,000-kilometer journey that unites Italy and will celebrate the universal values of peace, inclusion, and collective participation in Rovereto. The relay will feature 17 torchbearers who will exchange batons every 200 meters along the main streets of the center up to the Bell of the Fallen.
Sports associations and citizens are invited to participate in the initiatives planned for a moment of sharing alongside the torchbearers.
PROGRAM:
- 11:30 am – 12:30 pm, Smart Lab Youth Center: welcoming sports associations and torchbearers, institutional greetings, and a press conference
- 12:45-2:30 p.m., Smart Lab Youth Center: pasta for everyone, live music, and commemorative merchandise
- 1:30 PM, Smart Lab Youth Center: torchbearers depart via Viale Trento, Corso Bettini, Piazza Rosmini, Corso Rosmini, Via Fontana, Borgo Santa Caterina, Via Dante, Via Prima Armata, and Via Benacense until reaching Istria Park (formerly Ferrari Park)
- 2:30 PM, Colle di Miravalle: Arrival at the Bell of the Fallen. Musical accompaniment by the Minicoro of Rovereto.
