Siror Christmas Market is the oldest one in Trentino and this year is turning 27!
As tradition, the old village of Primiero is converted in a romantic Christkindlmarkt. For five days the typical wooden huts, the ancient barns and stables in the center are turned into picturesque small shops, where you can find original Christmas gifts. Such as ornaments, nativity scene, crafted products and noumerous delicious specialties, sweet or savory, such as the typical brazedel di Siror, zelten from Trentino, cold cuts, honey, sweets and many more.
Highly recommended a tour around the village on a troika, a traditional horse-drawn carriage, and a stop at the competition-show “Il mio albero di Natale” (My Chritmas Tree). Here you will find some original and new ideas to decorate trees, and you can vote the most original one. During the Christmas Market sculptors, form all over Italy, will take part at the traditional sculpture symposium “Arte Natale”. The artists will give birth, under the gaze of courious spectators, to small wooden masterpieces.
San Martino di Castrozza- Rolle Pass ski area is just 13 km away, a visit to the Siror Christmas Market is the perfect conclusion after a day spent on the slopes.
