To celebrate the spirit of the Winter Olympics, the Castello del Buonconsiglio di Trento opens its doors to a unique exhibition: "Winter in Art. Landscapes, allegories and daily life ", scheduled from 4 December 2025 to 15 March 2026.
A fascinating journey through time that explores how winter has been told and interpreted by artists over the centuries: from snowy landscapes that evoke silences and suspended atmospheres, to scenes of everyday life of the popular classes, immortalized between tiring works and moments of conviviality; from the sumptuous pastimes of aristocratic courts to refined Renaissance and Baroque allegories, in which frost and snow become symbols of metamorphosis and beauty.
The exhibition invites visitors to discover the poetic and surprising side of the colder season, offering a look that intertwines art, history and imagination in a story capable of exciting young and old.
