Casa Begna
The ancient farmhouse is right in the centre of the village. Its aim is to show how a traditional farmhouse of Carano used to organize its spaces and to show what the style of the furniture was, with the kitchen, the stua, the hayloft, the vòlto and the stala, which have been furnished with traditional furniture and equipment which were offered to the museum by the inhabitants of this area of Val di Fiemme.
The museum represents therefore how daily life was back in the days, when human beings used to live together with animals in a single building and when household work alternated with the activity of transformation, storage and conservation of raw materials. In the attic there is a small table with the cobbler’s tools and a carpenter’s bench.
