Perched on the hills to the right of the Destra Adige, Avio Castle is known as The Guardian of Trentino thanks to its strategic position overlooking the Adige Valley, which serves as the gateway between the Mediterranean and Northern Europe. The castle is wonderfully kept by the FAI, which is also responsible for managing its rich calendar of events and activities, particularly during summer.
