Palazzo Del Ben
Architect Augusto Sezanne refurbished it in 1906, transforming the original 18th century building into a Venetian Renaissance building.
The Renaissance-style mansion, now the headquarters of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Trento e Rovereto, is the result of a massive renovation carried out at the beginning of the 20th century by the architect Augusto Sezanne. Thelatter transformed the original 18th-century block into a Venetian-style building, richly decorated with paintings depicting the seasons and vaults decorated with festoons and pomegranates. Originally the private residence of the Dal Ben family, in the 16th century it was extended by the Counts of Arco and then purchased and renovated in the 17th century by the Clarisse nuns of San Carlo, to finally become the property of the municipality of Rovereto. The Accademia Roveretana degli Agiati is also located here, and some rooms are open to the public for cultural events.
