Casa d’Arte Futurista Depero
Paintings, tapestries, drawings, design objects, furniture, posters & flyers, go on a journey into the vibrantly coloured world of the futurist artist, with hundreds of works of art sure to win you over with their sheer exuberance.
Part of MART, Italy’s only futurist museum was established in 1957 thanks to Fortunato Depero himself, who spent much of his life in Rovereto and donated his collection to the city. Casa d’Arte Futurista Fortunato Depero is home to paintings, tapestries, mosaics, drawings, design objects, collages, posters, flyers and furniture created by the artist, a pioneer of contemporary design who personally saw to every detail of this venue. This is an unmissable treat for visitors to Rovereto, fascinating adults as well as children thanks to the creative and colourful exuberance of this innovative artist, whose many works of art include toys and puppets.
