Discover this extraordinary example of industrial architecture from the 1920s. Italy's most beautiful power station awaits you at the foot of the Ortles-Cevedale.

It is considered the most beautiful power station in Italy. And it couldn't be otherwise. Built in the 1920s, this plant located at the foot of the Ortles-Cevedale chain still uses the waters of the Torrente Noce to produce energy. Visiting the plant you can admire a building that looks more like a hotel than a production centre, both for its external appearance and for the beauty of its interiors that have made it an ideal location for advertising spots. Surprisingly, its large rooms are decorated with graffiti depicting the process of transforming the power of water into energy. On the outside, the wall painting created in 1930 depicts San Giovanni Nepomuceno, a protector from floods.
