The museum of farm implements
The Museum, set up by the Association Shows agricultural and artisanal tools of Canezza – Portolo, collects the objects and tools that were once used in the social dairy, in the houses and in the workshops of the town.
The sections, in each of which the name of the craftsman to whom the objects on display belonged are specified, are: dairy, cured meats, blacksmith, mill, carpenter, coopers, shoemakers, weavers, farmers, funerals and saddlers. Also on display is the clock of the church of Canezza, dated 1913, and the old pump of the Fire Brigade.
The in-depth information sheets show the Italian and local dialect nomenclature of the exhibits.
