Lakes of Cornisello can be reached from Madonna di Campiglio, approximately after a three-hour hike, and are located on the bottom of a huge valley circle framed by several peaks, including Cima Giner, Cima di Bon and Cima Scarpacò, Cima d´Amola, Cima di Cornisello and Cima Bocchetta d´Amola. Upper Lake Cornisello is very deep, and because of the numerous streams flowing into it from the surrounding peaks, its waters look milky. Whereas the lower lake is much more shallow, and features clear waters. From the lakes, a number of trails set off towards the other basins of the valley, such as Lake Vedretta (2,600 m a.s.l.) on trail 239, from which you can enjoy a full view of the Brenta Group, and Lake Nero (2,233 m a.s.l.), which can be reached via trail 216
