Lago di Calaita
Lake Calaita is located in the Upper Valle del Vanoi and features a breathtaking balcony overlooking the Pale di San Martino. The lake is 15 km away from Fiera di Primiero and is easy to reach by car. Just take the road heading to Gobbera Pass, which begins right after the long tunnel and connects Primiero to Valle del Vanoi. A hotel-restaurant-bar with a big parking-lot is located next to the lake.
Located on the southern banks of the lake, Miralago Alpine mountain-hut is surrounded by thick fir woods. Several paths connect the towns scattered in the Primiero area to the lake, where visitors will appreciate easy and interesting walks, including the pedestrian path to San Martino di Castrozza and Siror as well as the path to Malga Scanaiol Alpine farmouse. The farmhouse lies in a clearing on a striking balcony overlooking the Upper Primiero area and the Pale di San Martino.
