Sardagna’s panoramic terrace "Busa degli Orsi"

Named in honour of the famous plantigradi who were at home here until the nineties of the last century, the Busa degli Orsi is a popular viewpoint in Sardagna that you can reach directly from the centre of Trento, either by taking a comfortable path or by extra-urban bus in an hour. Long abandoned, this natural terrace was only recovered in 2017. Since then, tourists have been visiting it to enjoy a panoramic view of the city of Trento, from the most extreme point of the rock that houses a stepped steel structure with eighty seats. The deepest part of the "Busa" is crossed by a path that leads you to a cage suspended in the void, a cantilever element so structured for safety reasons that it gives you a truly satisfactory visual experience. The facility also hosts events and exhibitions.
