20 - At the Ofentol waterfall
Short walk near Guardia, the village painted with murals. Suitable for everyone, especially families with children (no stroller, rather a backpack), it combines the beauty of the path, which runs through a mixed forest of broadleaf and coniferous trees, with various panoramic points overlooking the upper valley of the Rio Cavallo, and the beauty of the waterfall. <p> </p>
It is worth combining the walk and the visit to the waterfall with a short stay in Guardia, known as 'the painted village.' The small and ancient inhabited center, overlooking the upper valley of the Rio Cavallo - Rosspach, displays beautiful mural paintings, the product of several mural art exhibitions held between 1988 and 2007. From the waterfall, it is possible to continue for a short stretch along the Senter dela Gon and reach the panoramic viewpoint of Dos del Stock, from which you have a spectacular view of Guardia.
