From here, proceed along the right side of the church of San Vitale to take the road on the left of the theater, which stands in Piazza Gianantonio Agosti. Following the route signs, you travel country roads immersed among apple orchards, which depending on the season appear as a huge flowering garden in spring or a giant apple nursery that grows daily until the harvest season, between September and October. Along the entire route, you are accompanied by several educational panels to discover everything about the apple: how it is born thanks to the busy work of the bees and how it grows thanks to the careful and passionate work of the farmer, as well as what they look like, which diseases and insects can affect them. Near a stream, you take the path that leads to the discovery of a waterfall that runs its last drops before plunging into the void until reaching the deep canyon carved by the Novella stream. Amid the coolness of the woods, you continue descending to enjoy breathtaking views of the Santa Giustina lake, the Brenta Dolomites group, the Novella gorge with the Hermitage of San Biagio clinging to the rock, but also the vast expanse of apple orchards and vineyards. Then, you arrive at a picnic area equipped with themed games; from here, descend further until reaching the San Biagio area, near the visitor entrance of the Fluvial Park of Novella. And here comes the time to climb back: through a Way of the Cross route, you gradually gain altitude to return to the village of Romallo, first passing by the imposing fruit warehouse where apples are carefully selected and stored for many months of the year. Throughout the route, fun games allow you to experience the path joyfully and listen to the story that the Melinda apple wants to tell.
During the walk, you can learn, play, and relax. The first playful-educational apple trail in Val di Non will certainly surprise and entertain at the same time and will let visitors discover many unknown aspects of this magical valley!
