    Safety information

As you might imagine, the accessibility of itineraries in a mountain environment is strictly linked to the current conditions and therefore depends on natural phenomena, environmental changes, and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this sheet may have changed. Before setting off, check the condition of the route by contacting the managers of the refuges on your path, the mountain guides, the visitor centers of natural parks, and the tourist offices.

    Roadbook

The route starts from Loc. Sette Larici above Sfruz where there is a large parking area to park the car. The area is characterized by two large stretches of green and flat meadows where you can rest and take advantage of fire points for outdoor cooking. From here, the path continues along a road that is partly unpaved and partly asphalted or cemented leading up to the Malga di Coredo. The route is initially flat and enters the forest among pines, larches, and firs where at dusk or early morning it is easy to encounter some wild animals such as deer, roe deer, hares, or foxes. At a certain point, the road becomes asphalted and uphill (called “val di Toc”) and crosses areas called “Cianalecel”, “Pozze” and “Pez del Checo” marked by signs hanging from trees. It then reaches a fork characterized by a very sharp curve, for this reason called “Curva de la Lama”. Taking the left road uphill, you arrive at Loc. “Zuol” and then to the Malga di Coredo. For the return, follow the same route back.
