Geotrekking - The Valimpach waterfalls - Centa stream river park

Easy path suitable for everyone with a one-way walk of about 2 km and a height difference of 50m

Located on the right orographic side of the Val di Centa above the Molino del Cleccheri, the Valimpach waterfalls create a highly scenic and still almost untouched place. Their origin is due to the emergence in the Valimpach valley of waters from the underground outlet of the karst lake of Lavarone. The waters descend from the vertical rock walls with drops of tens of meters, forming travertine deposits adhering to the rock and creating, in the less steep section, a series of small ponds shaded by dense vegetation. The base of the waterfalls can be reached by a comfortable and flat walk (about 2 km and 30 minutes from the Speck Stube parking lot) along the riverbed of the stream up to the Molino del Cleccheri locality and from here on with the equipped SAT E218 trail Valimpach Via ferrata (only for experienced and equipped hikers).
