<p>50km varied and scenic cycling route through villages, watercourses, and vineyards.</p>
<p>In the green Adige Valley, halfway between Trento and Bolzano, lies the territory of Piana Rotaliana Königsberg, an orderly expanse of vineyards embracing small elegant villages. The countryside borders watercourses and rises onto panoramic hills up to the foothills of the high, steep, and imposing rock faces that surround the entire valley.</p> <p>The Giro del Vino 50 is a loop route that crosses this scenic landscape, passing from the Piana Rotaliana vineyards to the suggestive slopes of the Avisiane and Königsberg Hills. The route mainly includes cycle paths and little-trafficked secondary roads, but also long stretches of unpaved paths through countryside and woods.</p> <p>---</p> <p>Note: Due to work on the Adige riverbank, the section between San Michele (loc. Masetto-La Cacciatora) and Salorno (railway station) is diverted from the left bank to the right bank of the river. Follow the signs on site.</p>
