Interpretative path "Intertwining of time"

Comfortable thematic route suitable for both summer and winter that retraces some founding themes of the Sagron Mis community: farming, the forest, the mines, mountaineering, legends. Along the route, there are informative totems and descriptive "harps".

This is an itinerary that, starting from Chalet Giasenei, gently enters the beech and fir forests, partly following old paths and comfortable forest roads. A simple route, although 7 km long, that leads to the discovery of a specific area that for centuries has been a kind of deposit from which minerals were extracted, but also wood and grass, and from which myths and legends were derived. Charcoal squares and ancient "calchere", geological layers that emerge and redefine our scale of time, intertwine with mountaineering adventures and undergrowth flowers. An interpretation of places and time through local history made of clues and abandonments, of memories and images that together weave a story through 16 informative totems and 3 interpretative harps acting as facilitators. “Intertwining of time” as a metaphor of yesterday, today and tomorrow, but also of the intertwining between Paneveggio Pale di San Martino natural park and the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, which are geographically closer here than ever.
