La Via delle Normali

Mixed climbing and trekking route. In 6 stages it links 10 peaks of the Brenta Dolomites, following existing and re-equipped normal routes. <p><b>Attention! During the summer of 2025, Refuge Pedrotti will be totally CLOSED to the public without the possibility of overnight stays and/or refreshments.</b></p>

The route runs in the Brenta Dolomites group from south to north, touching on Cima d'Ambièz, Cima Tosa, Crozzon di Brenta, Campanile Alto, Torre di Brenta, Cima Brenta, Cima Falkner, Cima Grostè, Cima Pietra Grande and Cima Vagliana. <p>The normal ascent routes to these peaks, which were opened more than a century ago, have been re-equipped and secured by the Collegio delle Guide Alpine del Trentino, and their interlinking via paths has given rise to La Via delle Normali, which offers an unforgettable experience to those who wish to approach mountaineering in the stone heart of the Dolomites.</p> <p>The aim of the project was to re-equip the existing belays, abseiling and belaying belays, and the protection pitons, replacing them with stainless steel resin pitons. New belays were added to reduce the length of the pitches and, in the most exposed passages, new resin-coated anchors were added.</p>
