Pleasant sunny and panoramic walk that runs flat along the edge of the forest above the hamlets of Rumo.
This route is beautiful in every season and is also frequented in winter. The passage of locals ensures that the track is always packed and can be covered even with just boots.
Author’s recommendation
Since the trail is made on foot, immediately after heavy snowfall it is not certain that the trail is immediately packed.
In Lanza it is worth visiting the characteristic church of San Vigilio.

Roadbook
Starting from the hamlet of Lanza, you climb for a short stretch on the paved road leading to the Stasal farm. Take the road on the right that curves near a stream and here you enter the flat route called "Lez".
This much-appreciated route follows an old irrigation canal and is therefore flat. It runs along the edge of the forest and is well exposed to the sun. During the walk, you can enjoy great views of the Maddalene mountain range and the wide Lavazzè valley, where the Lavazzè alpine pasture and the charming Masa Murada hut are located.
The route continues flat until the Tre Strade locality and to return to Lanza you take the same way back.
