<p>The Val Daone Tour is travelled through gentle trails among the woods, with a nice flowing section that represents the real highlight of the entire route.</p>
<p>Val Daone is the large valley that, from the Adamello massif with its imposing glaciers, stretches southwards. Here, in the upper Val Daone, is the source of the Chiese River, which flows rapidly downstream — interrupted by two large artificial reservoirs — until reaching the Valle del Chiese. Transalp cyclists will have heard about Val Daone because of the route called the Heckmair Route, which starts at the very difficult Passo di Campo (which may take up to four hours) and leads precisely to Val Daone.</p>
