Val Rocchette - La Via delle Valli

<p>It is lovely, wild and unspoilt, with a decidedly vertical profile. This is Val Rocchette, an unexplored jewel of nature - a trek for experienced hikers with good orienteering skills.</p>

<p>A side valley of Val Genova, Val Rocchette is distinguished by its particularly <strong>challenging and untamed terrain</strong>. The climb is <strong>extremely steep</strong>, so the use of <strong>GPX-Tracks is recommended</strong>.<br />This unspoilt valley is waiting to be explored, but be aware that you may lose track due to <strong>tall grass</strong> or <strong>missing signs</strong>. As with almost all the side valleys of Val Genova, the ascent is steep, so trekking poles are recommended.<br />To avoid getting lost in the less visible sections, it is strongly recommended that you follow GPX-Tracks. To reach the observatory, you will need to tackle a couple of short vertical passages over rock and grass, which can be slippery when wet. There are no refreshment points and there is <strong>no mobile phone reception</strong>. The valley should by no means be underestimated, as it requires good physical fitness and mountaineering skills.<br />It is particularly suitable for those who love exploration and are not afraid of fatigue or isolation.</p>
