The small village of Toss rises 476 meters above sea level; many of the inhabitants here are still farmers, which is evidenced by the strong presence of apple orchard cultivation. At the entrance to the village, stands on a slight slope the parish church dedicated to St. Nicholas, who is remembered every year in the square on December 05 with a majestic bonfire for the little ones.
A pleasant walk on asphalt ground takes you to Ronch, a place muffled in the woods, where there are still plenty of blackthorn and dogwood shrubs.
Continue on a gravel road and after a few minutes you reach the hamlet of Nosino, where really only a handful of inhabitants live right at the foot of Castel Thun.
