PROGRAMM:

10.00am:

  • Entrances open
    • Via Conciliazione, near Bar Pergola
    • Via Roma, near Tabacchi Grassi (run by Marica Grassi)
    • Via Trento, near the CEDIS offices
  • Polenta preparation begins in the various squares: Malfer, Unità d’Italia, Lucillo Grassi and adjacent streets.
  • Tasting and sale of local produce and handicrafts by producers offering fruit, wine, beer, honey and more.
  • The Donne Rurali del Bleggio will be serving delicious strauben and crêpes.

10.30am - Piazza Europa:

  • Festival opening
  • Welcoming remarks from the authorities and presentation of the "Festival della Polenta" technical jury, comprising chefs and food and wine journalists.

From 11.00am - Piazza Europa:

  • Live broadcast on Radio Dolomiti
  • Presentation of the polenta dishes
  • Workshops and entertainment for children.

    • Piazza Europa: Polvere di Stelle ASD majorettes
    • Junction of Via Trento and Via Battisti: Tecazado
    • Piazza Malfer: Debora Band

Throughout the day: tastings, sampling and a public vote on the polenta dishes

  • Piazza Unità d'Italia: Polenta Carbonera prepared by the Polenter di Storo
  • Piazza Lucillo Grassi: Polenta Macafana prepared by the Pro Loco of Cimego
  • Piazza Malfer: Polenta with turnips prepared by the Pro Loco of Bondo
  • Piazza Malfer: Potato Polenta prepared by the Polentari Valle di Ledro
  • Junction of Via Trento and Via Battisti: Polenta, Molche and Cheeses prepared by the Varone Polenta and Mortadella Committee

To take part in the tasting, you will need to purchase a pass for €15,00, which includes: 5 polenta tastings, water, a free bowl and a kit.

  • Junction of Via Roma and Via Marconi: Polenta and wild boar and wild boar prepared by the Brione Pro Loco
  • Piazza Europa: Fried polenta prepared by Agri '90
  • Piazza Europa: Polenta and braised and braised beef prepared by Amici A.D.P.
  • Piazza Europa: Roasted chestnuts prepared by the Valle del Chiese Chestnut Growers’ Association
  • Piazza Malfer: Polenta and salami with cream prepared by the Storo Missionary Group
  • Piazza Lucillo Grassi: Gastronomia Armando Corradi

Each competing polenta dish is available as a set meal for €10,00.
Book online or on the day, subject to availability:

5.00pm: awarding ceremony for the Polenta Festival competition, with the "La Ramina d'oro" trophy presented to the winner chosen by the expert jury, and the "People's Jury" trophy presented to the winner chosen by the people's jury.

6.00pm: closing of the 2026 Polenta Festival.


TARIFF:
Lunch and polenta tasting for a fee. Other activities are free.

The event has some necessary conditions to allow any person to access it. Please contact the organisers for full details.

USEFUL INFO: 
In case of bad weather, the event will be cancelled. Those who have purchased a polenta tasting pass or a ticket to sample a single dish will receive Agri '90 local products of equal value at home.
