I Suoni delle Dolomiti | MediBa 4tet

It is a wild panorama that welcomes the hiker when arriving at 2270 m. of the Bombasel lakes, in the Lagorai group, a vast mountainous area that extends along eastern Trentino, between the Val di Fiemme and Valsugana. The lakes, scattered across the rocky plateau and with a view of the Dolomites, are reachable by a walk from the Alpe Cermis, served by a lift system. A magical place, normally also little frequented, perfect to host the MediBa 4tet (Mediterranean–Balkan Quartet), an acoustic ensemble made up of Maša Vujadinović (voice), Jakob Kobal (accordion), Queralt Giralt Soler (cello), and Andrea Dionisi (drums/percussions). Finalist in 2025 of the “Paolo Manfrini” competition, named after the founder of “I Suoni delle Dolomiti,” the quartet was formed at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, with the intent of blending the Balkan and Mediterranean traditions of its members with original arrangements, jazz, and classical influences.
Their music effortlessly transitions from delicate moments to intense harmonic and rhythmic journeys. Active on the east coast of the United States, the MediBa return this year to Europe and to Suoni for their first tour. We can't wait.

How to get there
From Cavalese with the Alpe Cermis cable cars and Lagorai chairlift to Paion, and then on foot; 1 hour of walking, 280 meters elevation gain, difficulty E.
