The streets of Drena come alive for the 55th edition with a widespread festival dedicated to the town’s symbolic fruit: walks in the chestnut groves, cooking workshops, show cooking, music and many opportunities to taste it.
Sweeter than the chestnut and characterised by a firm texture, the Marone di Drena is grown using natural methods and harvested by hand according to tradition.
A product that reflects the deep connection between the community and the centuries-old chestnut groves surrounding the village.
