Anthology, the first retrospective exhibition dedicated to the artist Annamaria Targher, curated by Petra Cason
The exhibition collects twenty years of artistic activity through a wide journey consisting of large canvases, collages, textile works, and pieces dedicated to mountainous landscapes, animals, and personal memory. An intense and deeply autobiographical research, capable of intertwining narrative strength, territorial identity, and expressive experimentation.
Among the exhibited works, there is space for the famous series dedicated to cows and goats, references to the Austro-Hungarian forts and the mountains of Alpe Cimbra, along with the abstract and contemplative works of the Wallpapers, which narrate the more intimate and meditative dimension of the artist's production.
