Rifugio Denza

Excursion program: Andar per Monti Level of difficulty: intermediate

EXCURSION

A welcoming mountain hut, a quiet little chapel, and a crystal-clear alpine lake reflecting the majestic silhouette of Mount Presanella. At 2,300 meters above sea level stands Rifugio Denza, built over 125 years ago and named after Father Francesco Denza. It's not unusual to be swept up in the cheerfulness of Mirko, the hut’s host, who delights guests with old-time songs and music played on his accordion.
